Album — Just Music — October 2020

Set the Weather Fair

Wordless music with a narrative: the swell at Sizewell beach on a cold January morning, the landscape of north-eastern Slovenia, and finding perspective in the vastness of the night sky.

Set the Weather Fair cover artwork

Set the Weather Fair is wordless music, but a narrative remains. It reflects the swell at Sizewell beach on a cold January morning, the landscape of north-eastern Slovenia, the hope in new beginnings and the finding of perspective within the vastness of the night sky.

It is a record about changeability, permanence and the importance of creating things, big and small, artistic and human.

Introducing the first collaboration between Andy Dobson and Dom Graveson under the Digitonal banner, the album is a new evolution of the band's sound, setting aside the string-drenched sound of earlier albums in favour of intricate modular-driven textures and analogue warmth.

Seasons: the remix album

Set the Weather Fair: Seasons is an album of remixes with an eclectic selection of reinterpretations from BUNKR, Proswell, Marconi Union, Of the Night Sky, Fire_Sign, Musin and Aeon Cub. The tracks range from stripped-down, stark ambient to angular IDM and offer a different view on the album. Available digitally on Bandcamp.
